A bientôt

Life of Pi by Yann Martel / chapter 53

The Life of Pi was written by Yann Martel. He was born in 1963 in Salamanca, Spain. His parents were Canadian. They first studied at a university in Spain. Later, they worked in the Canadian Foreign Service. Yann Martel travelled with his parents to Costa Rica, France, Spain, and Mexico in addition to Canada. He won the Man Booker Prize for his novel "Life of Pi." He was inspired by a novel with the title "Max and the Cat" and was subsequently accused of plagiarism.

D'ici à la fin, je change tout au temps présent.

In this chapter, Pi is on the lifeboatpas de virgule with Richard Parker and the hyenapas de virgule who has been eaten by Richard Parker. Pi is about to be eaten, but an unexpected accident saves his life.

Pi is afraid to be with Richard Parker because he's on the same boat as the tiger who attacked the hyena. Martel gives such a precise description, readers will feel they know what Pi is thinking.

After the death of the hyena, Richard Parker goes out to sea and gets lost. He's probably wondering where he is and what he's doing there, vut he is satisfied because he has something to eat since on the sea there is usually no food to be had.

Pi thinks that he will be the next victim when Richard Parker turns his head and looks at him. Pi is afraid. He thinks he will be the next one to die.

Pi gives a long decription of the tiger to show how beautiful and strong it is. Pi understands that the tiger is a threat to his life. According to Pi's description, it is a beautiful and dangerous animal.

But something strange happens. A rat runs on to the lifeboat. Pi and Richard Parker are very surprised. A rat on the lifeboat? How strange. This is the first time they've ever seen a rat on this lifeboat before!

Then Pi gives a very detailed description of what the tiger is capable of, so the readers will feel some of his fear. Pi has an idea which will save his life. He hurls the rat at Richard Parker. He gives a very clear description of what happens to the rat in order to show the horror of the scene. He makes a comparison with the baseball to provide some humor and make the scene less painful. At the same time, he pays homage to his brother who was a great sportsman; and it is a reference to the fact that he will be arriving in a country where baseball is king.

The consequence of his act is that his life is saved, and he can go back to his boat.

To conclude, the descritpion is very interesting and makes readers feel what Pi feels. All in all, it's an engaging and exciting story.

Il y a des fautes qui sont évitables. L'une d'elles c'est l'orthographe. C'est pour ça que je m'attends à ce que tu vérifies l'orthographe du vocabulaire et des verbes dont tu te sers avant de m'envoyer ton dm.
