Salut, Rowenna.

Que c'est long ton commentaire !

Intro: Yann Martel was published in 2001 Life of Pi.In this part of the chapter, the caracter, Pi, speaks about his life in Canada, how he likes Canada, the fact that he misses the eat of India, the food, What's happend when a arrived in Mexico.
Intro: Yann Martel's "Life of Pi" was published in 2001. In this part of the chapter, the character Pi speaks about his life in Canada, how much he likes Canada, the fact that he misses Indian cuisine, and what happened when he arrived in Mexico.

At the beginning, he says that he was a very good student, he studies zoology because of the fact tht he had living in a zoo. He wants to visit a lot of city like Jerusalem, oxford, because this cities are very famous, he was very curious and he wants to know the world before his die ( sa mort, je suis pa ssur de l'orthographe du mot...)
At the beginning of the chapter, he says he was a very good student. He studied zoology because of the fact that he had lived in a zoo. He wanted to visit lots of cities such as Jerusalem and Oxford because these cities are very famous. Being a very curious person, he wanted to see the world before he died.

But if he likes Canada, India his his native country si this country (manque: misses ?) to Pi
And now he knows that his country is Canada. He uses a lot of positives adjectives like, intelligent. And he realizes that Pondichery, his native city his the paste, he says: "I have nothing to go hom in Pondichery.
Even though he liked Canada, it was his native India Pi missed. But since then, Canada became his adopted country. And he realized that his native city of Pondichery was a thing of the past. He said, "I have nothing to go back to in Pondichery."

He new life waits him.and it his better for him if he turns the page (tourner la page: je ne suis pas sure de l'expression) But he has never forgotten his aventure: Richard Parker ( he was in a boat after, naufrage of his boat when he wants to go to Canada with his family, when he was in the save boat, Richard parker, a tiger of his zoo was present in the save boat). The name of this Tiger, his the name of three victims of Canilaism.Their are something human in the tiger, projection of human quality in the tiger (indication de notre professeur d'anglais)
His new life was waiting for him, and he felt it was better for him to add a new chapter to his life. However, he never forgot the adventure of his life. It happened while aboard a ship on its way to Canada which got shipwrecked. He was in a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger, by the name of Richard Parker, and some other zoo animals. This tiger was named after an Edgar Allan Poe character from a story in which four shipwrecked men who, after many days' privation, drew lots to decide who should be killed and eaten. Richard Parker, a mutinous sailor, draws the short straw and is eaten. The tiger repesents the animalistic characteristics of humanity. Yet there are human qualities in this tiger.

In the hospital of Mexico, he was touch by the kindness of the people.by their compassion.he uses alot of positive adjectives. But he doesn't no their language, he was like a baby, but people undrstand his destress, they give him foods, and love.
In a hospital in Mexico, he was touched by the kindness of the people, by their compassion. Pi uses many adjectives with a positive connotation in speaking of them, such as intelligent. But he didn't know their language. He was like a baby. People understood his distress and fed him and treated him lovingly.

Ang after some days in the hospital his physical state is very good, he could standy, his body started healing very fast but his skin will keep the traces of his adventure all his life. He descrives he health with a lot of humour: he said that his leg was so inflate their legs look likes an Elephant (reference to his past life in a zoo)
After spending several days in the hospital, his physical condition improved. He was able to stand up. His body was healing rapidly, but his skin still bore the traces of all the adventures of his life. His description of his health was filled with humour. He said, for example, that his legs were so swollen, they looked like the legs of an elephant (a reference to his former life at the zoo.

When he good in he restaurant he was surprised when water He was surprised when water flows from a tap : he has forgotten civilization. And when he went in a restaurant he discovert that he must learn how live in Canadian society, learn how use knife.but at the beginnig, when he speaks about when he speaks of his academic success, he shows us the effort he has provided to adjust, and show that it has broken the link that connected to his former life in India
He had been away from civilization for so long that he was surprised to see water flowing from a tap. When he entered a restaurant, he realized he had to learn how to live in Canadian society. From the very beginning, he related his academic successes and showed how much effort it took to adjust, an effort revealing the break in his link to his former life in India.

Conclusion :This part of the text is written to explain how he mearn to live in Canada, his progression in the society, after his aventure and the fact that he must forgotten his past life in India, return in Pondichery is not a good idea
Conclusion: This part of the text explains his desire to live in Canada, his progression in society after his adventure, and the fact that he had to forget about his past life in India, particularly his return to Pondicherry, which was not a good idea.
