Dear brother, Pourquoi pas, Dear Connor ?
I hope you are feeling well. As for me, I'm fine and happy to be here. As I have told you in the past, New Zealand (aucun trait d'union) is the best place to find a good job. Without a doubt, the first steps were very difficult. New Zealand is nothing like Ireland, but I quickly got a job as a farmer and a driver. What's more, my boss is nice. He has helped me often, and he feeds me dinner every day. I think he'd also like me to marry his daughter. But that's between you and me, OK?
Now, I'm able to pay my own way. In fact, I have no regrets because life is better here. I plan to work for another 11 months and then go into business for myself.
You know that I miss you very much, and Daddy too. So, how is he?
Connor, when I've saved up enough money, I want to return to Ireland. I have friends here, but nothing can take the place of family.
Please write soon.
Lots of love.
Your brother,
Liam.
