Merci d'avance.
Comment a Photograph
This photo has been taken by the famous russian photojournalist Alexander Zemlianichenko. He heads for Moscow’s television station.
This photograph is a snpashot. It has been realized in Moscow, not far from the Kremlin during the Soviet coup attempt on august 18, 1991.
The hard-line communist Party official demand the resignation of Soviet Presiden Mikhael Gorbachev ( they refused thePerestroïka setting up by Gorbatchv to modernize Economy and theGlasnost for Medias). He refused. The tanks are in Moscow .During this time nobody could go into television station .Then within three days the coup fell. On one oh these photos, we can see on the left in a wide- angle shot, the statue of Felix E. Dzerjinski who was in the old days at the head of the Tcheka (now named KGB); he has been knocked off his pedestal; on the right, we can see demonstrators; one of them has his right foot on the head of the statue. It emanates from the photograph an atmosphere of victory and of joice. It produced a feeling of liberty, the feeling of something of historical significance.
To reach his objectif, the photographer used a wide-angle shot; the photo is taken in a low-angle shot.Colors are black and white; they are strong; the statue is horizontal, so are the photograhers. The demonstrators are verticals. The photograph is sharp in the first plan, but in the last plan it is out of focus.
The photograph is impressive and I could have taken such a photograph because it is beautiful, strong and it is an historical phograph: we can see this sort of photos only once in a life.

| Bonjour, Rowenna.
This photo has been taken by the famous russian photojournalist Alexander Zemlianichenko. He heads for Moscow’s television station. This photo was taken by the famous Russian photojournalist Alexander Zemlianichenko. He is the head of Moscow's television station.
This photograph is a snpashot. It has been realized in Moscow, not far from the Kremlin during the Soviet coup attempt on august 18, 1991. It is actually a snapshot, and was taken in Moscow, not far from the Kremlin during the Soviet coup attempt on August 18, 1991.
The hard-line communist Party official demand the resignation of Soviet Presiden Mikhael Gorbachev ( they refused thePerestroïka setting up by Gorbatchv to modernize Economy and theGlasnost for Medias). He refused. The tanks are in Moscow .During this time nobody could go into television station . Hard-line Communist Party officials were demanding the resignation of Soviet President Mikhael Gorbachev because they rejected his attempts at implementing Perestroika, which would have modernized the Soviet economy and established Glasnost for the Media. As a result of Gorbachev's refusal to cooperate with them, tanks were dispatched to Moscow. During this time, no one was permitted to enter the television station.
Then within three days the coup fell. Then within three days, the coup collapsed. One of these photos is a wide-angle shot, where to the left, you can see the statue of Felix E. Djerjinski toppled off of his pedestal. Djerjinski was formerly the head of the Tcheka (now known as the KGB). Among the demonstrators in this photo is one who has his right foot on the head of the statue. The scene is one of liberty and historical significance.
As I already indicated, the photographer achieved his objective by using a wide-angle shot, which was also taken at a low angle to capture the street-level effect of the situation. The photos are in black and white and absolutely sensational. The statue is in a horizontal position. In contrast, the demonstrators are all in a vertical position. While the focus of the foreground is clear and crisp, the background is out of focus because the picture was taken at night.
The photograph is impressive and I could have taken such a photograph because it is beautiful, strong and it is an historical phograph: we can see this sort of photos only once in a life. I was quite impressed by the photo, and I felt I could have taken it because of its stark beauty and historical significance. Photos such as these are taken only once in a lifetime.
